Are you getting a social welfare payment?

An Post has provided detailed information about collecting social welfare payments at Easter.

If you’re due to collect your social welfare payment on Friday, 18 April 2025 (Good Friday), or Easter Monday, 21 April 2025, you can collect it from Thursday, 17 April 2025.

Part-time workers getting jobseeker’s payment

If you’re a part-time worker getting a jobseeker’s payment, the Department of Social Protection advises you to submit your work patterns for week ending 15 April 2025 or 16 April 2025 by 4pm, Thursday, 17 April 2025 for payment on 23 April 2025.

If you can’t provide your expected work pattern before this deadline you can still submit as normal, but your payment will be delayed.
