Since 25 September 2023, you can get public funding for assisted human reproduction (AHR) treatments in HSE-approved private clinics, if you meet the eligibility criteria and get a referral from your GP. Eligible patients will be entitled to 1 full cycle of IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) or ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) treatment, or 3 cycles of IUI (intrauterine insemination).
If you are a student and are sharing accommodation with your landlord there is a voluntary regulatory framework that can help set ground rules between you and your landlord. It is recommended that you agree a written license agreement with your landlord before you accept an offer of accommodation.
As of 28 September 2023, the interest rates for the Local Authority Home Loan are:
- 4.00% fixed interest rate for loans up to 25 years (APR 4.07%)
- 4.05% fixed interest rate for loans over 25 years and up to 30 years (APR 4.13%)
