Voting in the general election takes place this Friday, 29 November 2024. Polling stations will open from 7am to 10pm.
To vote in a general election, you must be an Irish or British citizen. You must also be over 18 and registered to vote.
What do I have to bring to the polling station?
If you have a polling card, you can bring it with you. You must also bring ID to vote even if you have a polling card. Check out what ID will be accepted at the polling station.
You do not need your polling card to vote.
Where can you vote?
You’ll find your polling station on your polling card. You can also check on checktheregister.ie.
