If you want to vote in the general election on 29 November 2024, you must be registered in advance.

Tuesday, 12 November is the last day to register to vote for this general election.

You can register online and change your details (for example if you moved house) at checktheregister.ie

To register to vote you will need your:

• PPS number
• Eircode
• Date of birth

To be eligible to vote in a general election in Ireland, you must be:

• An Irish or British citizen living in Ireland
• Aged 18 or over
• Registered to vote
