What’s in Budget 2025 for you?

Over 200,000 people visited citizensinformation.ie as Budget 2025 was announced on Tuesday, 1 October 2024 – an increase of 17% on Budget Day 2023. This is almost 5 times more than the visitor daily average.

By that evening, the Budget 2025 page and our new social welfare rates page saw almost 40,000 page views and the citizensinformation.ie website had just under 400,000 page views – 3 times more than a normal day.

Citizens Information social media channels pushed out over 27 updates across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to inform people about the major Budget Day announcements.
