Citizens Information Board nominated for eGovernment awards

Two projects from the Citizens Information Board were shortlisted as finalists for the eGovernment Awards 2024:

• The digital content team’s response to COVID-19 in the award category for Marketing & Social Media

• The Returning to Ireland portal in the award category for Promoting Ireland Overseas.

During COVID-19, the Digital Content Team at CIB quickly moved to provide accurate information about the pandemic on the Citizens Information website in real-time and through their social media output.

The Returning to Ireland portal provides help to Irish emigrants abroad who are thinking about coming back home.

Ireland’s eGovernment Awards recognise innovators in digital government services.
